Grandpa "Nonno" Carlo
It all began in 1948, when Grandpa ("Nonno", in italian) Carlo opened his small goldsmith workshop on Via Monginevro, in Turin.
Today, his legacy lives on through a new generation crafting timeless, handcrafted jewelry with the same dedication.

Varengo jewelry store opens
From workshop to jewelry house.
In 1948, Carlo opened the first official location of Gioielleria Varengo on Via Monginevro, in Turin.
A space where goldsmith tradition took shape and began passing down through generations.
This is where the first handcrafted Varengo jewels were born — made with care, detail after detail.

Die-casting
Innovation serving craftsmanship.
Over the years, Varengo introduced the die-casting technique — a process that allowed for precise shaping of precious alloys and new creative possibilities.
Our artisan jewelry-making evolved, while preserving the essence of hand-finishing and quality control on every piece.
